The vision for this art deco apartment in Sydney’s Elizabeth Bay was simple: more space.
Knocking down a wall between the existing apartment and the newly acquired apartment next door meant instant space, however we were tasked with creating a new space that simply felt like an extension of the initial home: a seamless transition.
Retaining the apartment block’s original art deco charm was imperative, however weaving in elements of modern living in this new space was just as important.
Neutral tones and stylish finishes created a sense of warmth and comfort while perfectly complementing classical elements of the building.
The completed apartment now houses four bedrooms and two bathrooms, teamed with generous living zones, a laundry and views of Sydney’s harbour.
